Oskar Metsavaht uses his photography as inspiration to his collections for Osklen. His perception of the lines, form, textures and silhouettes from Ipanema beach where he lives, to the mountains of Aspen; from the surfboards in the shaping room to the dresses in his atelier. Among these opposites there are common lines that are his elements of style.
He is first and foremost an artist. Oskar continuously draws inspiration for his designs from his lifestyle. With a culturally rich life and a love of art, architecture, photography, film, he channels his interests into wide range of creative endeavors.
